The Referral Roster Membership Directory is available on-line at www.WCR.org annually to the organization’s 18,000-plus national members. This 500-page book is repeatedly cited as a top member benefit in independent surveys. Get your branding in front of a powerful network of real estate professionals through your ad in the 2008 Roster.
WCR also offers the opportunity to place your color photo on WCR.org in the online member search, which is the most visited section of the Web site. Online listings are the most up-to-date, reliable way to reach WCR members across the country. And if you are both a Roster advertiser and PMN designee, your photo appears on WCR.org for free.
WCR is most appreciative of your attendance and support of our group. We hope that you will now further support us by joining our organization as a Local or National Affiliate member. In the past, we’ve had a restriction on the number of affiliate members per company that could hold membership. However, we acknowledge the value of our affiliate partners and have decided to invite all affiliates to join as either a National or Local member.
In light of this, we also have to acknowledge that WCR is a REALTOR® organization and we have to support the desires of our REALTOR® community. WCR National has a restriction that does not allow our organization to have less than 70 percent REALTOR® members. In part, this is to network with other REALTORS®. Therefore, we have decided to implement additional guidelines for our Affiliate members.
In 2010, we will be enforcing our policy that Affiliate member applicants must have 2 REALTOR® members join concurrently. We know that with your strong ties in the community, you will influence and persuade REALTORS® that WCR is an important organization in which to attain membership.
For Non-Member Affiliates, we will now require that they bring a REALTOR® guest to each Business Resource Meeting attended. A non-member Affiliate will not be able to register for the event without confirming who their guest is.
Our policy permits any guest (REALTOR® or Affiliate) to attend (2) Business Resource Meetings as non-members. After that, we ask that you participate by joining WCR Marin and participating on a committee level.
